If you have proficiency in Japanese at a conversational level or higher, this will allow you to participate in an internship within many fields or practices outside of our opportunities in the technology sector. We’ve listed a few example internships below based upon our actual affiliate companies to give you a better idea of what types of opportunities we can arrange. (Please note, these examples are only for demonstrative purposes. Actual availability will vary.)
About the Sakae Institute of Study Abroad:
栄陽子留学研究所 - Sakae Institute of Study Abroad focuses on providing educational counseling to Japanese students wishing to enroll in universities abroad, including hosting seminars to provide information and teach students, as well as conducting individual counseling. Internship Description:
Interns are tasked with working with customers using a combination of English and Japanese in a professional setting, organizing
and translating academic documents and materials for students, as well as developing new projects in collaboration with staff
members as a part of a team. This is a great opportunity to work in a professional environment and practice Japanese, as well as
building skills which are easily applicable to your future career. Internship Description:

As an older establishment, this ryokan focuses on preserving Japanese tradition by allowing travelers to experience a piece of Japanese history.
Internship Description:
At this internship, interns will assist with the daily tasks around a traditional Japanese inn, while interacting directly with a variety of customers, both Japanese and foreign. Interns will have the unique chance to practice their Japanese at the crossroads between modern and traditional life. Interns will interact with native speakers on a daily basis.
